How it works

1

Upload PDF

Drop any text-based PDF containing tables — reports, invoices, financial statements.

2

Auto-detect tables

Our engine scans every page and identifies all table structures automatically.

3

Separate sheets

Each table is written to its own Excel sheet — named by page and table number.

4

Download Excel

Get a formatted .xlsx file with headers, striped rows, and an index summary sheet.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Text-based PDFs work best — these are PDFs created from Word, Excel, Google Docs, or exported from software like Tally, SAP, or any reporting tool.
  • ✅ Financial statements exported from software
  • ✅ Government data tables (CESTAT, MCA, GST reports)
  • ✅ Bank statements in PDF format
  • ❌ Scanned image PDFs (need OCR first)
  • ❌ Password-protected PDFs
The Excel file always starts with a 📋 Index sheet listing all extracted tables with their page number and table number. Each subsequent sheet is named P{page}_T{table} — for example, P3_T2 means the 2nd table found on page 3.

Every sheet includes: blue header row, alternating striped rows, auto-fitted column widths, and frozen header rows for easy scrolling.
If the tool reports "No tables detected", the PDF is likely a scanned document (image-based). The text appears as an image rather than selectable text.

Solutions:
  • Run the PDF through an OCR tool first to make the text selectable, then retry.
  • If the PDF has very light or borderless tables, try exporting it from the original software as a proper text PDF.
